BIO

Eric is a composer, songwriter, music director, pianist, and producer from New York. He is currently an Associate Music Director for the Story Pirates and their award-winning Podcast, as well as a contributing composer to the popular Calm App. He’s toured with shows all over the world and musically directed several high profile performers including Matt Rogers, Colin Mochrie, Cole Escola, Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson, as well as the popular musical Podcast “Off Book”. He has composed music for Comedy Central, TruTV, and TBS, The New York Mets, and Improv Everywhere as well as web series, podcasts, short films, and videos across the internet. He has worked on projects with P!nk, Kevin Bacon, Bowen Yang, Rufus Wainright, Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Garner, Wanda Sykes, Stephanie Hsu, Alex Brightman, among many others.

For several years he has taught and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre in New York, where he created the Musical Improv Team Rumpleteaser. (“The Hardest I’ve laughed in a long time” - Mike Birbiglia)

He’s the writer, lyricist, and composer of the musical Jesus Christ and The American Revolution, an expanded version of his show Seventeen Seventy-Something which ran for a year at the UCB Theatre.

He also works as a Music Adjunct at the prestigious Calhoun School in New York.
